Despite the recent success of previous concerts at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park, two separate concerts have been postponed.

It was some seriously exciting news to announce an actual full stage-sized concert, especially one with country music. It's been MONTHS since a nationally touring country act has been in the area and with the cancellation of every single concert this summer, this is added salt to the open wound. It is very disheartening to have to share the news that David Lee Murphy's stop in the Rockford-area has been postponed with no specific reschedule date announced. This is also the same scenario for the concert scheduled the night before, Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts. The reason? Travel restrictions related to COVID-19, according to a Rockford Rivets Baseball press release.

Due to new travel restrictions, our two upcoming concerts have been postponed until 2021. Refunds for all ticket purchases will begin early next week. Please check the individual event pages or ticket sites for the new dates and latest information.

As stated above, ticket refunds will begin being issued next week.

It sucks that so many 2020 events had to be sacrificed due to the current global pandemic health crisis. Call it fake, call it bogus, but until the number of positive cases has a downward trend, this will continue to happen. Mask up, regardless of your opinion, so cases can decrease (because viruses never go away) and follow protocols so one day we can all enjoy the return of big events and large gatherings.
