Two of The Best Beer Bars in The U.S. Are In Chicago

Two watering holes in Chicago made it on Thrillist's Best Beer Bars in the United States list.

NBC Chicago shared a study from Thrillist that found that of the 31 best beer bars that they looked at two of them hail from the Windy City.

Those bars are:

1. Hopleaf, in the Andersonville neighborhood, was dubbed “one of the Winy City’s OG bars for serious beer,” boasting an “encyclopedic beer selection” and “incomparable” frites.

2. Maria’s Packaged Goods & Community Bar also made the list as a “classic Chicago ‘slashie,’” or bar and liquor store.
