When they get to your front door with your pizza you know they're thinking, "what kind of craziness is on the other side of the door?" 

In this case, they needn't wonder. Because the danger is in front of and above the door. I can't imagine anyone surviving after getting clocked by the icy behemoth just waiting for these wires to snap.
