The Dixon Police Department has one of the best Twitter accounts in the area if not the country. Let's take a look at some of their work:

These guys just get it. Community outreach like you read about. Usually, when organizations like this try to get cheeky with their social media, it comes off as desperate or tone-deaf. These tweets are actually funny.

Now about the political signs. First of all, stop stealing them. Second of all, what's the end game here? Other than annoying people, do you think they'll change their mind because you stole a sign? The risk-reward factor just isn't there for this petty crime.
