The Village of Pecatonica is celebrating its Sesquicentennial (150 year anniversary) in 2019, and they are already gearing up for a massive party.

Inside sources, (my lovely family in Pecatonica 😘), tell me that the Sesquicentennial committee is hard at work planning fun events for every month in Pecatonica next year to celebrate, but all those parties and fun cost a lot of money. This is exactly why the Sesquicentennial committee will be firing up the tractors (and the haunting) at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds every Saturday in October for a killer good time.

The Pecatonica Spooktennial Fair of Screams will run every Saturday in October from 6 - 10:30 p.m., with the first 2 hours being more kid/family friendly. The cost is $7 per person, except for on October 20th when the Fair of Screams will be helping to raise money for a sweet, 8-year-old girl named Ava Beck who is battling cancer.
