Back in 2018, Rockford introduced Lime Bikes to the city, with mixed results (depending on which opinions you're listening to), now the City of Rockford planning and development committee has approved a pilot program for scooters.

Who could have predicted that movie theaters around the country would be sitting empty while drive-in movies are enjoying a Renaissance?

Currently, Rockford has 22 surveillance cameras set up at intersections around the city. Monday night, the Rockford City Council decided to add four more to the mix.

Urinating outside, leaving behind garbage, parking where you shouldn't park, then yelling when you're told to move are apparently annoying behaviors to nearby business owners.
