Illinois Facebook Settlement 2023

It's a really big settlement, but the number of people who have qualified to receive a portion of the payout is also really big. This case goes back to last year, but payments to those who qualified here in Illinois and elsewhere still have not gone out. If you're one of those qualified people, you're probably wondering when you'll get your money.

Back in June, the court expanded what they call "eligibility requirements" in the Facebook nationwide settlement, which basically expanded the amount of Facebook users who can file a claim in the upcoming settlement. You'd better check to see if you're eligible to file, and if so, get it done before the end of this month.
