89th District State Representative Andrew Chesney (R-Freeport) is not a fan of the Illinois Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card at all, and the latest incarnation of the FOID card hasn't changed his mind one bit.

It was just a few days ago that I told you about the current efforts by some lawmakers in Springfield to require fingerprinting and a higher cost for Illinoisans to get a Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card. Well, that's all been thrown into disarray now.

A state-issued FOID (Firearm Owner's Identification) card allows the state of Illinois to identify people who are eligible to own and use a firearm.
