When you think of a state fair coming to town, what are you most excited to blow your money on? Sure, there are carnival rides and games, but that's not the best part of attending the fair.

You may not like eating a handful of candy corn from out of a candy dish, but deep fried candy corn may change your opinion on much-disliked candy.

Is there really anything better than fried food on a stick?

I've never talked to anyone who didn't love the taste of a deep-fried turkey. However, many people refuse to even try doing it for fear of burning their house down.

For all of you who claim that no method of cooking a turkey even comes close to being as good as a deep-fried turkey, well, you'll get no argument from me. For me though, as Inspector Harry Callahan once observed, "a man's got to know his limitations." Risking incineration of my house for a delicious plate of turkey is beyond that limit.
