It's not easy to find a DeLorean. It's even harder to find one with only 977 miles, but that's exactly what explorers found hidden in a Wisconsin barn that will leave you trying to figure out how to get 1.21 gigawatts to power it.

In October 1984, when Back to the Future would’ve been in early-development stages, a producer gave a friendly suggestion to remedy one of the biggest flaws in the project. The script was “terrific”, everything was fine, but that title. Wouldn’t something along the lines of Space Man from Pluto have a smoother flow, make more sense to audiences, and convey what the movie’s actually about much more succinctly?

Okay, so it's Back to the Future Day. As you know (maybe), it's the day specified in the movie where Marty and Doc Brown go back to the....blah, blah, blah. Nothing wrong with the movie(s). I enjoyed them, my kids have enjoyed them, but enough about hoverboards and such...

In addition to returning to theaters and releasing a premium Blu-ray box set this fall, Back to the Future will also celebrate its 30th anniversary with a pretty big celebration. Today comes news of some exciting plans to help fans further celebrate the release of one of the best films of all time — there’s just one catch: it’s all taking place in Los Angeles.

Everyone knows that 2015 is the year that Marty McFly and Doc Brown journey to in Back to the Future Part II. While we may not have hoverboards or Jaws 19, we are getting a new 30th anniversary Blu-ray and DVD release of the Back to the Future trilogy, which isn’t a bad consolation prize. In fact, the slightly more obsessive fans have even more reason to celebrate, as the Back to the Future animated series from the early ‘90s is coming to DVD for the first time.

A few weeks ago, I wrote about a guy named Catalin Alexandru Duru, who, at the time, had just set a Guinness World Record for the "Farthest Journey by Hoverboard." Even though the "hoverboard" he used was very cool, it didn't really match up with the one from the Back to the Future movies (check out the piece with accompanying video here)...

Just like you were promised in "Back to the Future 2," you should be able to get your hands (or feet) on a working hoverboard in October of next year.
