I Bet Many Librarians Could Write Interesting Books About Their Career
I know you'll probably think I'm crazy for saying this but I bet a librarian could write an interesting book about their career. I understand they don't live that celebrity lifestyle but they still experience some unusual things.
My wife's grandma was a librarian for many years. She would tell us some of the funniest stories about visitors to the library. Especially when the facilities started to offer free internet. Let's just say they would have to erase the computer's search history quite often. I think some people forgot it was a public machine and would look up "adult" type topics.
What Do You Use For A Bookmark?
Most of the time, you're not going to sit down and read a whole book in one day. It will usually take a few sessions to get through it depending on the length. You don't want to lose your place so you'll need some sort of bookmark. Hopefully, you don't fold the pages because that could do damage.
Of course, there are official ones you can buy at the store. If you're creative you could make some. When my daughter was little, she actually had a bookmark collection. When she got a little older, she would hide money in books. Everyone has their own preference. I remember using an old baseball card.
