Student In Custody Following Bomb Threat at Roosevelt Education Center

UPDATE:

Students and staff now have returned to class at Roosevelt.  Officials say following an investigation the bomb threat was deemed "not credible." A student has been taken into police custody. District 205 officials say the school day will continue as scheduled.

Roosevelt Community Education Center in Rockford has been evacuated this morning following a bomb threat. The school is located at 978 Haskell Avenue.

According to District 205 officials, Rockford police and fire are investigating the threat. Students and staff remain safe.
