Rockford Street Will Be Closing Temporarily Beginning on Monday 10/13
Utility work on a south side Rockford neighborhood street will begin next week, so you may need an alternate way to work.
Temporary Closure on Seminary Street
According to a press release from the City of Rockford, beginning this Monday, October 13, Seminary Street will be closed between 15th Avenue and 18th Avenue for scheduled utility work.

Officials from the City of Rockford also confirmed that the closure will last through Tuesday, October 14, weather permitting.
Detour and Safety Precautions
Look for signs to follow the detour route that will be in place, and motorists should use extreme caution, follow posted signs, and slow down when traveling near the construction zone to make sure we keep workers and drivers safe.
According to the press release, the roadway is expected to reopen almost immediately, once all work has been completed and conditions allow.
