Posted on the Serial Killers section of Reddit, a user named DoeHare says "I'm pretty sure there's a serial killer in my city and the police aren't being transparent."

They also shared stories about the found bodies on WREX, WIFR, and Rockford Scanner.

THE OTHER REDDIT THEORY SURROUNDING THE RECENT RASH OF FOUND BODIES

Another Reddit user who claims they're a "HUGE true crime junkie" says they disagree adding "I just can't get behind it here."

Pointing out the "skeletonized remains," the "homeless and addicted population" and "if we consider the opioid crisis here, these could be dumps from friends of someone who overdosed and they are afraid of being caught."

There doesn't seem to be anything connecting the victims here - yes there are several missing/deceased males, but even they don't fit a profile. For instance, the body in the storage locker was a woman from a town an hour away from it.
