Here's a chance to make your voice heard when it comes to Rockford Park District programs and priorities.

The Rockford Park District Board of Commissioners is conducting a community-wide survey to help the Board determine the best use of public resources. The survey asks for community feedback about maintenance, safety, fees, programming priorities, participation, and user groups who should receive priority.

A select number of surveys were sent in the mail to random households in the District, and included postage-paid response envelopes. Those who do not receive a survey in the mail can pick up a copy at certain Rockford Park District facilities (listed here) or answer the questions online.

Officials say people do not need to have used Park District facilities or programs to participate in this household survey.

In September, survey results will be posted on the District’s website and a final report will be presented to the Rockford Park District Board of Commissioners.
