The Annual Friends of Rockford Police Department K-9 Unit benefit, is scheduled for August 13th at Anderson's Rock River Ford (224 N. Alpine) from 1pm-3pm.

Friends of Rockford Police K9 is a non-profit 501(c3) which exists to support the expansion and maintenance of the City of Rockford Police Department K9 Unit. This organization raises money to support those furry friends that protect us...and their handlers too!

In the past few years, this organization has raised funds to purchase new K-9 vehicles, sent officers to training seminars, bought useful equipment (for dog and officer) and ever purchased a NEW DOG! If you are looking for a 501 (c3) to get behind personally, or as a business, this group goes above and beyond for the city of Rockford.
