Rockford Dad Has Perfect Response For Epic Tooth Fairy Fail

As parents we all try to do our best, but it is inevitable, we will screw up. We'll say the wrong things, we'll act the wrong way, and sometimes we will forget to do major things like leaving money from the Tooth Fairy.

An old friend of mine had a major parenting fail last week, but the way he made up for it had me rising to my feet applauding...and laughing out loud.

Let me lay out the scenario for you...My friend is a single Dad juggling a lot of responsibilities and 4 kids all at once. In the midst of the daily chaos of life he failed to notice that one of the kids had left a tooth and an art project for the Tooth Fairy under her pillow. It sat there for a few days before she asked why the Tooth Fairy hadn't come yet. Instead of ruining the magic and apologizing for his mess up, my friend left this note under her pillow that night...

I'm not sure how the little girl felt after receiving that apology note, but as a parent, I think it is pure genius!

When I reached out to my friend to see if he had more parenting wisdom to share regarding this epic fail he said;

The stock market rise and fall have nothing on the interest you’ll pay when you forget about the Tooth Fairy.
