Rockford Christian’s Superintendent Abruptly Resigns

Rockford Christian will immediately be looking for a new superintendent.

WIFR -  Rockford Christian Schools sends a letter to parents that Superintendent Randy Taylor has resigned effective immediately. The letter says that during the search for a new superintendent, elementary Principal Amy Hultman will provide leadership to that campus while middle and high school Principal Drew Popejoy gives leadership to that campus.

Details on this story are very scarce.

Taylor has been the superintendent of the private school since 2003. He oversaw many expansion projects at Rockford Christian including the impressive Diane Bertran Science Center and the expansion of the middle school campus.

School representatives would only confirm what was sent out in the letter and stated that was all they could comment on at the time.
