Police Search For Suspects In Rockford Murder

One man is dead following a shooting on Rockford's east side.

According to a press release, police responded to a shots fired call Sunday night in the 1700 block of Log Cabin Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive 18-year-old male gunshot victim in the street.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died. His name has not yet been released,
