FORRESTON, Ill. (AP) — Authorities say a combine harvester struck and fatally injured a bow hunter who was walking on a rural road in northwestern Illinois. The farm equipment struck the man in the head.

The Ogle County Sheriff's Department says 65-year-old David Olzeski, a real estate agent in the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, was struck from behind at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. The Dixon Telegraph reports the man was dressed in camouflage clothing. Officials say he was taken to Rockford Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Sheriff Michael Harn says no charges have been filed against the driver, whose name hasn't been released.
