For the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66, nominations end this week for the Hall of Fame.

Visiting The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

I am a huge fan of music, especially everything Rock. I finally made the trip to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. I am not going to lie, it was amazing. One of the coolest places I have ever been to in my life. The memorabilia was incredible.

I guess it took me so long to go there because I was not happy about all the inductees. There are many I believe deserve to get in that have not and several that should not be in. That clouded my judgment. I finally got over it and visited the shrine to my favorite genre of music.

Illinois Is Getting Its Own Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Hopefully, you have heard about it by now but the good news for music fans in Illinois is we are getting our very own museum dedicated to our state's music. The construction of the Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 has begun. It will include the Illinois Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Illinois has such a rich history of music, I think it is great to have a place to honor it.

Unlike the museum in Cleveland, our future location will feature only artists from Illinois. Plus, the residents will have more of a say in who gets honored. I think that will make it even more special for the inductees.

Last Call For Illinois Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Nominations

When I said that Illinois residents will have a say of who gets into their hall of fame, I was not kidding. Everyone is allowed to make nominations. In fact, the latest round will end this week.

I am excited to see which musicians will be included in the new induction class. To make your nominations and for more info, HERE.
