Look Who’s Supporting Troopathon

Troopathon 2014 is upon us once again, and NewsTalk 1440 WROK couldn't be prouder to take part. As I've said in this space before, if it's for soldiers and/or veterans, we support it.

Any contribution you can make will be greatly appreciated as your funds go toward care packages for our men and women in uniform. Candies, snacks, batteries, personal care items, etc., anything that can give our troops a taste of home and a knowledge that we remember and appreciate what it is they do for us every day.

I pointed out this morning that many of us move heaven and earth to fire off a thank-you note when someone slips a five dollar bill into a birthday card for us, why not undertake the same or greater effort for those who can and will lay down their life to protect us?
