Wisconsin Lodging Must Haves

Last summer my family went on a short vacation with three other families we are close with, and we had so much fun, we plan to do it again this summer!

When it comes to finding a place to stay we only have a few must haves:

1. It must be within decent driving distance from home. (a couple hours tops)
2. It must sleep 8 adults comfortably (our kids will sleep anywhere, LOL).
3. It must have a big kitchen and eating space. (we don't want to go out all the time for meals).
4. It must be on the water and/or offer several different forms of entertainment that we don't have to drive far to get to.

When I started looking for unique Airbnbs in Wisconsin, I came across the listing for the Starlight Tower Manor Airbnb in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

The above picture alone almost sold me, but I have to make sure it meets our groups'  must haves too, right?

Is it a close driving distance from home? YUP! Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin is just over an hour from Rockford.

Can it sleep 8 adults comfortably? YUP! It has 8 bedrooms, 11 beds, and 3 bathrooms! ( Here's the room I would like to stay in)

Does it have a big kitchen and eating area? Yup, it has a chef's kitchen and dining space for 25 people.

Is it on water? Yup, and it includes plenty of fun water sports to choose from. (There's also a boat house with a bar and toilet).

Does it feature plenty of ways to keep us all entertained? Yup, Yup, and Yup!

A cool and comfy movie theater space that seats up to 35 people...

AND the coolest part of all; the 72 foot tower observatory complete with telescopes to gaze at the stars and planets.

Have I got you sold yet? There is probably one last thing I need to tell you; the rate to stay at The Starlight Tower Manor this summer is just over $1,400 per night, BUT if you split it between multiple families it is much more affordable and well worth the price!
