If you've been watching Stranger Things since the beginning and heard the news that Netflix was going to screen the Finale in movie theaters and thought the only way you were going to see it was in Chicago if you lived in Rockford, well, think again.

Rockford Lands a Surprise Big Screen Premiere

It looks like the Stranger Things Finale will actually make its debut on the big screen in Rockford, just as it will in a bunch of other theaters nationwide this month, as it was unveiled today that AMC Showplace 16 was included on the list.

When and Where to See the Stranger Things Finale

The two-hour and five-minute finale will show up in theaters on December 31, giving devoted fans a last chance to see it all close out in cinematic style instead of at home. The listing was on the AMC's website, and Rockford's addition was a low-key surprise considering AMC skips the market for events like this.
