When Village Green Home & Garden closed its location at 2640 North Main Street in September 2024, many city residents wondered what would happen with the space. Well, we finally have the answer, and it's a good one.

North Main Market Company is in the beginning stages of transforming Village Green's former two-acre property into a year-round food destination unlike anything this city has seen before.

So, what exactly is North Main Market Company?

Think food hall, local marketplace, bar, commissary kitchen, and community gathering spot all rolled into one.

North Main Market Company's website says:

From quick bites to full meals, the market will offer a mix of local vendors and food trucks with central seating designed for gathering and sharing.

The Market will also have a bar featuring beer and wine, a rentable commissary kitchen to help local food entrepreneurs grow their businesses, and a greenhouse space that will have fruits and vegetables available year-round.
