Rockford Has a New Brew & View Event You’ll Want To Check Out This Summer

Calling all movie buffs and pub lovers in the Rockford area! Ernie's Midtown Pub is serving up a new way to enjoy your favorite films every month!

Family Movie Nights

For my family, Friday night is typically pizza and movie night with the feature presentation being a large cheese pizza and an animated flick on Disney+...obviously, the cravings for an adult movie plus are cocktails are strong in our house.

If you are parent with young kids craving a fun, adult night out, OR just a person who loves movies, food, and cocktails, this new monthly movie event from Ernie's Midtown Pub in Rockford might be just what you're looking for!

Movie Nights With Ernie's

In March Ernie's Midtown Pub kicked off a fun new event  at J.R Sullivan Theatre in the RPL Nordlof Center; Movie Nights With Ernie's, and it was so much fun they decided to do it again every month through July!

The next movie night will take place on Friday, April 26, and the feature presentation will be a true Rockford favorite; 'A League Of Their Own'. 

Movie Nights With Ernie's, (an 18+ event), will show a different movie each month and also feature food from Ernie's Midtown Pub, complimentary popcorn, and a full cash bar with specialty drink options inspired by the night's movie selection.

Important Info About Movie Nights With Ernie's

Admission to Movie Nights With Ernie's is $7, and proceeds will go to the Rockford Public Library Foundation to support programming at the new Main Library in Downtown Rockford. Limited tickets are available and can be purchased in advance, here.

Doors will open at the J.R. Sullivan Theatre at 6 p.m., (movie will start at 7:15 p.m.), so getting there early to save your spot is probably a good idea.
