I told you last week, Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America was going quiet for the remainder of the summer for a little bit of a glow-up. It was just a bit of a paint job, as it has been in operation since 1999, and apparently, now was the time. Little did I know that there was another coaster at Six Flags that hadn't worked all summer.

Maxx Force: The Fastest Launch Coaster Sitting Still
I'm talking about Maxx Force. Honestly, I've never been on the ride before, but what I'm hearing is that when it debuted in 2019, it was hyped up as the fastest launch coaster in North America. People who visited Six Flags in Gurnee this summer noticed the super-fast coaster sitting in park, and it hasn't moved.
Six Flags’ Official Word on Maxx Force
Six Flags told WGN in Chicago:
The ride was 'currently underdoing some maintenance.' The spokesperson confirmed to WGN on Tuesday that nothing has changed with Maxx Force’s status.

Roller Coaster Lineup Shifts Without Its Heavy Hitters
If you look at the lineup at Six Flags Great America like an all-star team with its heavy hitters, including Maxx Force and Raging Bull, now both down and out, they'll have to rely on Goliath, X-Flight, and Superman to carry the load even more than usual.
