The Democratic National Convention will be in Chicago and the Republican National Convention is going to be held in Milwaukee later this Summer, so that means ALL the media is coming to the area.
Late-Night Talk Shows Will Tape in Chicago, Milwaukee
According to Variety, the TV network Comedy Central will be taping The Daily Show with Jon Stewart in Milwaukee from July 15 to July 18 during the Republican National Convention.

In August, Stewart will take The Daily Show's 'Indecision 2024' to Chicago for the Democratic National Convention from August 19 to August 22.
That won't be the only TV show in town for the Democratic National Convention.
The Late Show with Stephen Cobert Taping in Chicago
According to the Auditorium Theater's website, the Late Show with Stephen Cobert will tape his show at the historic theater in Chicago during the Democratic National Convention from August 19 through August 22.
Tickets and availability for tapings of The Late Show and The Daily Show will be announced at a later date, according to the Auditorium Theater.
David Letterman's Interview of John Mulaney in Chicago on Netflix
Former Late Show host David Letterman was in Chicago late last year to tape an episode of his Netflix series "My Next Guest" that featured John Mulaney, and it's now available to watch.
In the sneak peek of the episode, it says "John Mulaney returns to his Chicago high school with David Letterman as they candidly discuss addiction, fatherhood and the state of stand-up comedy."
