John McDonald of Glen Ellyn Passes at 77
John McDonald of Glen Ellyn passed away recently at the age of 77, and his family made sure to include one final shade of his favorite team. A longtime White Sox fan, McDonald "couldn't face another White Sox season after last year's record-breaking meltdown."

NIU Grad and Trader Joe's Fan
Outside of baseball, McDonald was an NIU grad who worked in software sales and loved his post-retirement gig hanging out at the Trader Joe's sample table. A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in Naperville is accepting donations in his memory.
A Final Swing Every Sox Fan Understands
It's safe to say John McDonald went out with one last swing, and it's even more safe to say a lot of White Sox fans feel the same way.
