Summer in Illinois may have just officially begun, but if you're already thinking about all the fun things you and your family can do this fall, you'll get no judgment from me! In fact, I'll even give you the first cool thing to add to your 2026 fall to-do list.
Fall Fun Coming to Illinois
For those who are reading this and thinking it's way too early to talk, much less think about fall, please don't blame me. Blame this post that popped up on my social media feed the other day:
Last fall I heard so many people raving about Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up, but I never got a chance to go there and experience it for myself. That will not be the case this year.
Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up appears to have everything fall lovers crave in September, October, and November including:
- Pumpkins everywhere
- Cider donuts
- A corn maze
- Food and drinks
- Fall photo-ops
- Carnival rides and activities for kids
- Even axe throwing and fortune tellers
At Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up, pumpkin-themed magic is everywhere you look, and visitors of all ages will love it.
Don't have kids or just want an excuse to go on a date night? Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up also features full bars serving seasonal adult cocktails.
Tickets for Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up located at Goose Island in Chicago (1265 West Le Moyne Street) aren't on sale yet, but will be very soon, so join the waitlist now so you don't miss out!
Here are some more important things you need to know before you go:
- Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up will open for the season on September 10, 2026, and will be open daily through November 2. The entire event is outdoors and will be open rain or shine.
- Anyone 5 years old and over needs an admission ticket.
- Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up is completely cashless.
- Walk-ups are accepted if the event is not sold out for the day.
Are you still mad at me for talking about fall too early? I just want to make sure you are aware far in advance that something so fall-bu-lous is coming to Illinois this year!
