As an adult who loves Halloween, I am qualified to say that most of the events that take place in Illinois during Halloween season are geared to children and family fun. As a parent I love this, but sometimes we need an excuse to have a unique date night, and I just found something perfect!

On September 13, 2025, Jack's Lighted Trail will officially open for the first time at Eckert's Farm in Belleville, and this sounds like something everyone needs to see:

Jack's Lighted Trail is definitely family-friendly, but Eckert's Cider Shed is the perfect place to have some adults-only fun with family and friends.
