A lot of celebrities invest their money into some sort of side hustle or business. It could be a restaurant, bar, venue, coffee, liquor, beer, clothing, and so much more. Some of the famous people put their name on it, so the fans know it's them. Others keep it on the downlow, which I think is cool. Most of them can use it as a tax write-off if it loses money.

Two-time Oscar nominee Joan Cusack has a surprising side hustle many fans might not know about: she owns a charming gift shop.

 

Joan Cusack has owned her Chicago gift shop, Judy Maxwell Home, since 2011 as a creative hobby.

 

The shop is named after Barbra Streisand's character in What's Up, Doc? and features vintage-inspired decor

Of course, "Toy Story 5" is a big hit. There are many different actors and actresses who have voiced characters for the movie. The voice of Cowgirl Jessie was done by Joan Cusack. She is from Chicago and still lives there with her family. I've been a fan for a long time because she always plays a fun and interesting character. It's pretty cool that she still lives in Illinois.

Over the past few years, she hasn't been in a lot of movies while she has been raising her kids and spending time with her family. She was looking for a project to keep her busy. That's when she decided to open a little quirky gift shop called Judy Maxwell Home. It's not far from her home, so she's in there quite a bit. How cool would it be to run into her? I definitely have to check that place out.
