Luckily, the phrase "Don't Do The Crime If You Can't Do The Time" stuck with me as a kid. I had no desire to get arrested and go to jail, so I made the right decision early on to not steal things or break the law. Unfortunately, not everyone feels the same way I do about rules.

In fact at times in Illinois, it seems like more people rather risk their lives and become a career criminal instead of obeying the law. More and more crimes are being committed every day, especially robberies. Everyone wants something for free without working for it. Of course, many of them are dumb so they usually get arrested immediately.

I've tried to put myself in their position but it's so hard to wrap my brain around it. So, if I went into a store to steal stuff, what would I take? I believe cash is number one on my list. Also, any big ticket items are on my radar too.

A pair of thieves walk into a liquor store in Chicago. They forced their way behind the checkout counter. Are they hitting the cash register for money? No, they're not. The suspects started clearing the shelves of tequila. Couldn't they've at least stolen some good booze?

There was a second item the thieves also had their eye on. That is cigarettes. They filled their loot bags with smokes too. Well, at least they have priorities. I guess we know who will be hosting the big party this weekend.
