Every Neighborhood Has A Grumpy Resident Who Ruins Fun

I would say it's a safe bet that pretty much every neighborhood has at least one grumpy neighbor that ruins the fun for everyone. You know the type, that yells at the kids to get off their lawn. They pretty much suck. These bad people are taking their grouchiness to the next level.

Crappy Neighbors Complain About Things That Were There Before Them

I think it's kind of humorous that someone will move near the airport and complain about airplanes. Come on, they were there before you. They should've known better. What did you expect? It happens all the time. Sorry but you have no right to make a big stink about it. That's just so obnoxious. I've got the perfect example of this kind of stupidity.

The Students Are Just Having Fun

According to cbsnews.com,

Some neighbors couldn't stand the constant noise, so they took matters into their own hands.

Parents in Orland Park say the homeowner crossed the line – blaring explicit music that prompted a visit from police.

Prairie Elementary School in Orland Park wanted to do something special for its students. They added on to the playground to give the kids more room to play. Also, they purchase musical instruments as another recreational option for the children. It was a huge hit and many participated in the activity. I think it's great that they're doing something besides being on their phones.

Of course, it's going to cause noise but the students are just having fun instead of causing trouble. Remember, school is during the day when most people work. It's not like they're out there in the middle of the night. Plus, the school was there before the majority of the neighbors. The residents should know what they were getting into.

Not The Right Way To Handle A Problem

One of the neighbors was very upset with the current scenario at the school. Apparently, they have nothing better to do during the day. They took matters into their own hands. They purchased a couple of huge speakers to put in their backyard. They started to blast loud music towards the playground, Then they took it to the next level with a playlist of songs with vulgar lyrics.

Even though it's not illegal to play loud music, parents weren't happy with their song selection. It's definitely not appropriate for children. All I can say is what jerks. To end the noise battle, the local police convinced the school to temporarily stop using the musical instruments. The grumpy neighbor did warn them if they returned that they would bring back their loud obnoxious music.

I hope the school eventually brings back the musical instruments for the kids. The horrible neighbor shouldn't stop them because he's way out of line.
