When I was in high school, for homecoming my senior year, a bunch of us decided it would be a good idea to TP the school because our campus had a lot of trees. There was also a courtyard with trees in the middle of the building. A couple of guys climbed the roof to get in there too. The janitors saw what was happening, so they called the cops. When they arrived, my classmates on the roof were busted because they were stuck with no escape.

I learned a valuable lesson that night: always have an escape plan. Three men from Illinois could've used that info. They were out stealing Flock license plate reader cameras. Well, the police saw them on video while they were doing it. When the cops got to the scene, two of the suspects escaped on foot. The third was busted because he didn't have an escape plan. He was stuck up on a ladder. Of course, he sold out his buddies.
