When I was growing up, our house was on a busy street, so our mailbox was up by the road. That thing got damaged so many times. Sometimes, it was accidental, while other times it was done on purpose. My parents used to get so mad. Eventually, when dad boobie trapped it, the vandalism stopped.

Deputies in Shawano County have launched an investigation into several criminal damage complaints after multiple mailboxes were damaged with alleged fireworks.

 

There's a huge problem with the mail in Green Valley, Wisconsin. Apparently, the postal workers don't have anywhere to deliver a lot of the mail. There was an incident where several mailboxes were vandalized. The police are currently investigating the situation. It appears that the mailboxes had been damaged by fireworks.

The suspects pulled up to each individual mailbox, then threw some fireworks inside, and closed the door. That must've been a loud explosion. There were ATV tracks found near the crime scenes. I can't imagine it will take long to find the vandals because of the security cameras.

Yes, it does seem kind of humorous if it's not your mailbox, but honestly, this is a very serious situation. Destroying a mailbox is a federal offense. This simple little prank can send the suspects to jail.
