Let's be honest, different kinds of businesses attract different kinds of customers. There are some places that just, unfortunately, attract a bad element. That's why residents who live in that neighborhood get angry with the owners. They don't want to live near places like that. Gentlemen's clubs fit in that category. Not many people want them in their community. This is a perfect example.

A 51-year-old far northwest suburban man was hauled off by sheriff’s deputies earlier this year after he obtained two lap dances from a stripper at Blackjacks Gentlemen’s Club in the South Elgin area and allegedly refused to pay for one of them.

The location of the problem was at Blackjacks Gentlemen's Club in Elgin. It happened just after lunch during the middle of the week. That's not a good way to start. Apparently, the suspect came to the bar dressed like the construction worker from the Village People to impress the ladies, but in reality, he was unemployed.

He got two lap dances from one of the dancers, but refused to pay the full amount. He owed $80, but gave the girl $40. When the club security tried to collect the cash, the suspect threatened the employees with violence. That's when they called in the local police. They immediately made the man an offer. Pay the $40 that he still owed, and they would let him go. It's no surprise that he refused.
