Several polls in recent years have found that younger adults are becoming more likely to turn away from alcohol, and one 2025 Gallup poll suggests it’s because they say moderate drinking is bad for their health.

There is a shocking trend that is happening with Wisconsin residents and their alcohol consumption. You're not going to believe this, but the Cheeseheads are drinking a lot less booze, seriously. Wisconsin is fourth overall in the United States, among the states using less alcohol. They are down 10.6% in alcohol use. That's a huge decline.

That trend is not just in Wisconsin; it's across the entire United States. Illinois is also down 6.2%. The younger generations are not drinking alcohol or getting drunk. Unlike when I was young and getting wasted every weekend.
