Summer is over. Pretty great weather, ballgames, grilling out, it's been an enjoyable summer in 2023.

So what are the steps to prevent these nasty little fellas from getting you? Here are a few ideas: EPA

• Keep mosquitoes away from exposed skin by wearing long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and socks.
• Tuck shirts into pants and pants into socks to cover gaps in your clothing where mosquitoes can get to your skin.
• Stay indoors when possible, especially if there is a mosquito-borne disease warning in effect.

Spending time outdoors, heavily wooded areas, maybe just a friendly BBQ...Make sure you are taking care of yourself or the world's deadliest animal could be looking for you.
