Did you know there's a Rockford Peaches fan trail you can visit right here in Rockford?

I've learned a lot about the Rockford Peaches over the past few years.  From the Beyer Stadium where they played all of their games, the movie; A League Of Their Own that's literally about the Rockford Peaches, and everything in between.  It's amazing to see history be born right here in my hometown of Rockford, Illinois!

#1: Visit Beyer Stadium, 245 15th Avenue, Rockford, IL

Known for being the field the women's professional baseball team called home, they won many games from 1943 to 1954 and got their stardom.  It's truly a place to take in all the history!  Step foot on the Beyer Stadium field to really feel the grounds the Rockford Peaches once played on.

#2: Visit the beautiful Rockford Peaches mural, Corner of 7th street & 1st avenue

Take fun photos with the entire team behind you with this humungous mural!  The location is actually a historical area - many of the Peaches once lived on this side of town.  As a bonus, it’s less than 2 miles away from Beyer Stadium!

#3: Head to Midway Village Museum, 6799 Guilford Rd, Rockford

What's awesome about Midway Village is the The Girls of Summer exhibit!  This journey through time features original uniforms, gloves, trophies, and everything to give you an experience through the 12 years the Rockford Peaches played on the field.

#4: Take a "pit" stop at Prairie Street Brewing Company

Did you know Prairie Street has a special beer dedicated to the Rockford Peaches?  It's a delicious Peach Wheat beer.

"Beautifully clear, golden brown, an almost peach color. Like a home run rising out of the park, fresh peach fragrance jumps out of the glass letting you know this beer is jammed with peach puree." - Prairie Street

You can take in the views of the Rock River while enjoying a flavorful drink that brings you back to your roots.
