4th Time Resident At Rockford Animal Shelter Looking For Furever Home
Meet Miss Laika, a resilient dog who has been a resident at a local animal shelter in Rockford four different times and is now looking for her furever home.
We always hope once an animal gets adopted from a shelter or rescue that they'll be at their forever home indefinitely. Sometimes, that's not the case. For Laika, this is her fourth time as a resident at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary.
She just can't stay away - she loves the staff and volunteers too much!
Let's break it down and help find Laika's final forever home.
- Laika is a 3-year-old Mastiff/Lab mix
- Born in a foster home and was adopted at 8 weeks old
- Returned at 6 months old for "unruly puppy behavior" and "lack of training"
- Adopted a second time, returned after issues with other dogs in the home
- Adopted a third time, surrendered because adopter thought she shouldn't live in an apartment
Now, beautiful Laika is back at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary looking for a home without other animals in the household. Do you think you're her furever family?
She loves to snuggle, has tons of energy, does well on car rides, and is great on a leash. What's not to love? She is a favorite amongst the volunteers and staff at Noah's Ark, too.
