Chicago Named One of America’s Top Solo Destinations by Reader’s Digest

Among the destinations listed by Reader’s Digest, Chicago was among the 14 and was called “Best for Big-City Culture.”

Chicago does deserve the praise it gets for being a good spot for a solo vacation because of its museums, clubs, parks, restaurants, and easy-to-explore neighborhoods.

I grew up in the Windy City, and with so many people around and so many things to do solo, it really makes a lot of sense. I was never bored in Chicago, and I believe you wouldn’t be either.

The best part is, if you’re in Rockford, you don’t need to hop on a plane or plan some elaborate vacation because Chicago is basically 90 minutes away.
