One person has died after falling at Illinois Canyon inside Starved Rock State Park.  Here's everything we know so far.

Starved Rock State Park is a popular sightseeing destination for hikers, fishing, and boating.  On Saturday, July 27th, 2024 around 4:30pm, a man fell from Illinois Canyon and succumbed to his injuries.

Illinois Man Dies In Fall At Starved Rock State Park

Albert Cramer 38, of Oswego Illinois, was identified as the man who fell at Illinois Canyon, according to the LaSalle County Coroner.

Here's what we know:

According to preliminary results, Albert died as a result of fatal injuries sustained from the fall.  No foul play was suspected, and the incident remains under investigation.
