Are you ready to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day? Wendy's is. They're hooking you up with a burger on the cheap all next week.

They say bringing your lunch to work is way cheaper than grabbing something from a drive thru.

Apparently 'they' haven't heard of Wendy's National Cheeseburger Day deal. I'll fill 'them' in, and you, too.

When is National Cheeseburger Day?

National Cheeseburger Day is Monday, September 18. Most searches will tell you the cheeseburger was invented in 1924. Why do we celebrate on September 18? No word on that, however, we will indeed celebrate.

Wendy's is celebrating by giving all of us a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger for a penny.

One little penny that you might've found on the ground of the parking lot this morning. That's it, that one little penny will score you lunch... sort of.

The deal (from Chew Boom), says you do need to buy something else to score than penny cheeseburger deal, and you have to use the Wendy's app.

So I guess, collect all of those lucky pennies and bring them to your bank. Or just use what's already in your bank account to pay for the lunch.

When is Wendy's Cheeseburger Day Deal?

The best part of this deal is that isn't not just on Monday. The deal lasts the entire work week, September 18-22, so you can take advantage of the cheap eats for multiple lunch breaks.

If you're looking for something Fall-y to pair with that burger, Wendy's just dropped their Pumpkin Spice Frosty and Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew.
