Upon reading the Amazing Times article about the Best Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives in Each State, I was taken aback to find that Wisconsin's top choice was not in the bustling city of Milwaukee but in a quaint town.
As a matter of fact, the article refers to this town in the "middle of nowhere."
While you won't find that on a map, if you look closely, you'll find Mason.
Mason, nestled in the picturesque Bayfield County, is home to the Delta Diner.
The Delta Diner, as described by Amazing Times, is a quintessential roadside diner, offering a menu brimming with comfort foods like biscuits, pancakes, burgers, and malts.
That sounds perfect to me, and Guy Fieri agrees, too.
While at the Delta Diner, Fieri sampled homemade biscuits with red-eye gravy and other items.
Delta Diner is fascinating in a couple of other ways, too.
According to their website, a "verbal menu" conveys " all the nuances" of their dishes, providing a unique and interactive dining experience.
The restaurant also has a No-Tipping Policy and pays its employees $15 an hour, which allows the Delta Diner to "consistently recruit, train, and therefore employ professionals who successfully represent" the Delta Diner.
This sounds like one of the finest Triple D locations anywhere on the planet. Delta Diner is at 14385 County Highway H.
