Two Days of Hoops: What to Expect at the United Center Campus

Tipping off tomorrow, Saturday, August 22, at the outdoor campus surrounding the United Center, which is effectively the parking lot, Bulls Fest 2026 takes place through Sunday, August 23.

The Bulls are calling it the ultimate basketball experience, with a wide range of activities for fans of all ages.

The Legacy of 3-on-3: From Gus Macker to Bulls Fest

Last year, over 16,000 people showed up for Bulls Fest, and the main reason was the huge 3-on-3 basketball tournament that the Bulls hold.

It reminds me of the old Gus Macker days that used to happen yearly in Rockford and of the Chicago Bulls' old tournament, Shoot The Bull.

I never played in Shoot the Bull, but I competed in Gus Macker many times, and it was always a blast.

This year at Bulls Fest, more than 300 teams will compete across over 50 courts and divisions for youth, men, and women of all ages.

Even if you're not playing, Bulls Fest offers hoops clinics, games, and activities, plus appearances by current Bulls players and legends.
