USA Today's 10 Best listed 8 offbeat themed hotel rooms for fantasy vacations and romantic getaways that include staying inside a giant potato in Idaho and a Christmas-themed room in Las Vegas.

From the highway, the Sunset Inn & Suites looks like any other nondescript roadside inn. Inside, however, you’ll find fantasy (adults-only) suites that run the gamut, from a wood cabin-themed hotel room to ones fashioned after a rainforest and a safari.

The most popular and newest themed hotel room is Paradise Beach, an island-inspired getaway that includes a boat bed, tropical shower, and private tiki bar. Flip a switch, and the walls turn from a sunny day at the beach to a beautiful sunset and starry skies.

On Trip Advisor, reviews are mostly positive scoring an overall four out of five.

Jen J said Sunset Inn & Suites was "super cute" and "we are already discussing which room we want to try next."

However, SIlly W had a different opinion saying the place was "too smokey to stay" and the "owner would not refund our money or let us reserve a different room another night."

Interestingly the review mentioned the smokiness of the Sunset Inn & Suites because the listing says some suites are "smoking" and if it's a problem "let us know when making your reservation and we will do our best to de-smoke your suite before your arrival."

I was very surprised to see that there are still establishments that let visitors smoke indoors.
