2. Lexington, MA
3. Brentwood, TN
4. Westfield, IN

While Indiana may be home to the best small cities in the U.S., Wisconsin has a couple of the best small cities ranking in the top 20. One of those cities is actually in the top 10.
WalletHub found that Brookfield, WI is the 10th best small city in the U.S.
The small city in Wisconsin making it in the top 20 is Appleton, WI. Appleton is the 17th-best small city in the U.S.:
Does Iowa Or Illinois Have Some Of The Best Small Cities?
Sorting through over 1,300 towns. A lot of small towns in both Iowa and Illinois made this list, but many were at the bottom.
A few that made it in the 80th+ percentile included Urbandale, IA, West Des Moines, IA, and Bettendorf, IA. Nothing in Illinois that I could find. Sorry.
