Illinois Daughter’s Sad TikTok Brings ‘Christmas Miracle’ To Mom’s Taco Shop
A sweet story out of Illinois today proves that the internet can't always be a terrible place.
A viral TikTok video posted by user @tacoboutjoys shows a woman in her taco shop, looking forlornly at the door. The caption says 'It breaks my heart to see my mom watching the door everyday waiting for a customer to walk in'.
The taco shop is in Glenview, IL.

But she got her Christmas wish. The video was posted last Thursday and ABC7 Chicago says that Friday night, there was a line out the door at Taco Bout Joys and they haven't stopped moving since. It's garnered millions of likes and people have stepped up to the literal plate by visiting the taco shop.
The demand for their Birria tacos was so strong that they sold out of them.
Taco-Bout-Joy's posted an update on their Facebook page, thanking the TikTok community for rallying around the small business.
The owner's daughter told ABC7 Chicago that family and friends and even the owners of Nina's Tacos in Sycamore decided to help out as the store became busier throughout the day.
If you're headed towards Glenview anytime soon, you'll find Taco-Bout-Joy's at 909 Greenwood Avenue. They are closed on Sunday and Monday but are open 10:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and 10:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
