UFOs have been a hot topic in the news over the past year. Here's where you'll have the best chance of seeing one in Indiana.

When it comes to UFOs, we have heard and seen a lot of reports over the past few years, especially on social media. For years, the government has denied any UFO reports. However, last year, a former military intelligence officer testified before Congress. He made claims that higher-ups in the government were keeping secrets about unidentified anomalous phenomena otherwise known as UAPs or UFOs.

That was some pretty big news last year, basically confirming what people have been seeing for years. Now, personally, I have never seen a UFO of any kind in the sky. That's not to say that I don't think that something is out there. There's a lot of universe and it would be an awful waste of space if Earth was the only planet to have intelligent life. I know that this topic can cause quite a debate over believers and non-believers. However, sometimes you see objects in the sky that you simply can't explain. Was it a satellite, a plane, or something out of this world?

Aliens in Indiana?

There's a really cool website that I found called UFO Sightings USA, that breaks down the number of UFO sightings in America. You can even break it down by state. As it turns out, there have been 2,667 officially reported UFO sightings in Indiana from 1969 to 2023. The Hoosier State ranks seventeenth in the list of states with the most reported UFO sightings in the USA.

A couple of interesting statistics that I found about UFOs in Indiana include:

  • July is the month with the most reported UFO sightings (364 reports, 13.65% of total).
  • Saturday is the weekday with the most reported UFO sightings (442 reports, 16.57% of total).
  • Sightings occur more often during the night, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 11:50 p.m.

Anything can be a weapon if used as such. Large rocks, baseball bats, golf clubs, hammers, etc., etc. However, those objects aren't designed to be used as weapons. These seven, on the other hand, are, and you are completely within your rights to have them in Hoosier State.
